Blessed be the dad
Who is present...
If even
In heart and spirit!
Blessed be the dad
Who is not...
If only
Because of the call of duty!

Evolving Designs!
with a kaleidoscope
Crying rains as he watches
Flooding the evolving designs - sadly
Spooling in violence and ego
Every color piercing another
Each moment in destruction!

Memories of Childhood Bliss!
Hello! Your voice rings…
After decades—over the phone,
I hear—from continents apart. Our
Kids are older than we were
When we saw last, but
The grade-school lunch of potatoes
You shared, smells appetizingly fresh
Of childhood bliss—from wherever
The memories are held!

A Tribute to Janice Elaine Keck
Of light atop the mountain---
Flame swept silently away
And up to heavens...
-A Poetry Tribute to Janice Keck by VeerajaR
But, Williamson county and the people of all ages, race and ethnicity whom she has touched with her service will continue to reap the benefits--gifts of her great soul! We may have lost a friend on earth, but gained an angel in heaven to lookout for us and our writer/artist aspirations and achievements!

Haiku: Lambardi is going home!
Haiku is a Japanese form of Poetry with a three line 5,7,5 syllables. It's a condensed form of poetry, second only to the two line versus of "Thirukural" in Thamil.
In Thirukural, a lot of facts, comparisons, contrasts, and meanings are packed firmly and beautifully within two rhyming lines. But, rhyming has no importance in Haiku. It is the rhythm. What is not said and left for the reader to extrapolate or fill in--is part of the beauty of Haiku.
Being from WI and a longtime Packer fan, I am celebrating today's victory game with a Haiku of my own:
Cheese melts steel ball-
Lambardi is going home
Super Bowl XLV!
For the first time, I joined my family to watch the game with Packer Backers Franklin. It turned out to be a lucky day for all Greenbay Packers' fans!

Cauldrons of Blazing Fire
Cauldrons of blazing fire...
May burn beneath fiercely,
At every step a leader takes...
What a lasting history it makes!
As a leader melts to the core...
Sees visions as never before-
Churning each atom to mold,
Beams... anew- bright as gold!

Sun Sets Only to Rise
Sun sets on the horizon...
only to rise
Brighter than ever- the
very next morning!
Such is a true leader...
even to demise
Mightier than ever-by
misery thwarted, rejoicing!

History in the Making
Uphold... A dream did missionary
Martin Luther King, that
Unfold in history this very... Day. A
Mighty story so...very real, breaking
Boundaries of race; missing no color
Bound in unison-the people
Roared on, cheering... O'bama!
Soared high... a Blessed nation-Be
Holding equality at its peak, for
Whole world to see...in
Our new president of
America-United States, the
Promised land... above the hill-as
Proclaimed by visionary King's will!

At Heaven's Edge
Winter's Mirage
Fluffy snow fluttering like
White confetti, Pine
Bluffs silhouette like Angels
Blanketed in soft crystals
Shuffled are the horizons
Seams all broken
Ruffled in winter’s mirage
R’ Earth and heaven’s edge
