Why do we humans ignore
Our own history lessons
Fail to learn from our mistakes
Never to make them again?

Peace is all what we need...
Little Empathy will get us all there
Hold us together!

As Pope Francis said let's embrace the Stranger and Care for the Weak among us! Peace will Bloom...

Maggie The Lioness

She looks like a lioness...

when sprawling in the backyard or focused on chewing a bone. Look at her paws, those sharp claws and teeth--yep, could be a ferocious hunter!

Oh, but if she chases the bunnies... it's only because she thinks she can play with them. She never harmed our parakeets. When the baby fledglings try to fly and fall she would rush there only to nudge them as if to say get up and fly.

Maggie's getting up there in years, but still a puppy at heart! She is intelligent and so very human. God was looking upon mankind kindly when he created dogs...

Snow and Me

The climate is changing, but cooler, everywhere! From snowing heavily in Tennessee to 18F in Colombo. Heavy showers and flooding seems to affect Australia to Ceylon. Whatever happened to the global warming? Is it the domino effect of global warming?

It is getting colder and snowing heavily in Tennessee each year. TN looks a lot like Wisconsin when covered in snow. A lot like WI! I thought I moved away from the cold winter wonderland to warmer climate---light leather-jacket winters.

Alas...! Snow has followed me all the way to TN. But, it's not all that bad... you see. We were blessed with a beautiful WHITE Christmas!!! Call it... a picture perfect or rather Christmas card perfect!!

Believe in Santa!

Remember... my wish list for Santa-way back in August? Can you see that Santa has brought me my "professional" camera?

Wow! What a difference it makes. I love this close-up of Maggie with the frosty silhouette of the trees and the sky in the background. It is as if the camera can read my mind & in sync with what I am seeing.

This is my Jasmin... in bloom right now. I could not have captured this lively beauty without my Nikon from Santa.
The scent-almost permeating from the picture!
